Vice Premier for European Affairs Fatmir Besimi today met with the new Resident Coordinator of United Nations and UNDP Resident Representative in the Republic of Macedonia, Louisa Vinton.

As announced by Deputy Prime Minister’s Cabinet, they discussed the initiatives of the Secretariat for European Affairs, the activities carried out within the European agenda, IPA coordination meetings regarding IPA 2007-2013, and the new programming period IPA 2014-2020.

– Winton informed about the areas where the United Nations and UNDP cooperate with the Republic of Macedonia and briefly informed about her priorities during her tenure, is said in the statement.

They agreed to further coordination and achieving mutual business meetings to achieve common goals in areas such as employment, environment, youth and other areas of mutual interest.
