Judgments for the case “Monster” will be pronounced today

The defendants in the case “Monster” are expected to be sentenced today, at the Basic Court Skopje 1, which was postponed due to health problems of the trial judge, Ivica Stefanovski.

Two of the defendants Alil Demiri and Afrim Ismailovikj who are suspected of direct perpetrators of the murder are still in prison in Pristina and not extradited.

They were sentenced to prison terms of two and two and a half years (last year in March) for illegal possession of weapons. Macedonia has requested their extradition, but there is no official explanation why it has not happened yet.

At the court in Skopje today will be charged Agim Ismailovikj, Fejdi Aziri, Sejdi Rama, Haki Aziri and Sami Ljuta. They claim innocent and being set.

The prosecutor Gordana Geshkoska asked strictest penalties for defendants on the ground that they deliberately massacred five Macedonians on Easter just to cause fear among the Orthodox population.
